Dr. Kessel always conducts a thorough skin examination, takes samples when deemed necessary to assure cancer or other serious infections are not present, and leaves me with the feeling proper care has been achieved. The only thing is I go back next Monday. I waited two weeks I need a results of my test that’s what I’m waiting for and I don’t know how to get back to it to find out what it is. She was excellent. She explained everything but I never got results

Left eye droop after Botox. After another visit back, I was prescribed eye drops which were not covered by insurance. I asked for reimbursement for both the visit and the eye drops, but they made me feel that it was my fault for the eye droop. No one took accountability for the botched service and there were no compensations and no apologies. Never going back there and I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I had a late in day appointment and to me it seemed he was in a hurry to get out of the office, I guess he checked me thoroughly, tho it seemed fast and rushed. He told me all were benign even I told him my wife noticed changes in a couple of my moles. He didn’t offer me an option to get them removed and have biopsied. All in sll all a bit disappointed in visit.

I hesitated to make an appointment with a specialist, but my son has had a growth on his leg for months so I wanted to get it checked out. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We sat in the waiting room for over 20 minutes and when we were seen, we were given the bare minimum of information. No instructions on what to do about the growth, no suggestions, just one word answers when I asked a question. And I had to keep asking questions because the doctor treated us like we should know what this is. I would have thought at the very least he would give us his opinion on how to treat it or provide an ointment. Something… but it seemed like he just wanted to rush us out the door. It was a waste of an expensive copay.

Overall dealing with Dr. Kessel is always great. He is thorough, professional, knows his stuff. Only one concern, was - he did a biopsy of something suspicious on my left leg. However, I never received a f/u call on the results of that biopsy. I called 9 days later to get the results.

Alena Otero is The Best Dermatologist I have ever been to. I have be treated by her 3 previous times, and she always is professional and does an excellent job. Although she had a different assistant on the last visit, the assistant also was professional. I just love this place!

Personable, quick, thorough.

Seemed knowledgable in the field, but seemed very dismissive in my expressed concerns mentioned in the visit. No patient summary provided even after asking the assistant. Was told to review the instructions on the prescription. The prescription only addressed one out of the three concerns. I was told no follow-up appointment needed. As a medical professional myself, I decided to seek a second opinion with another dermatologist and was seen a week after my appointment with Dr. Kessel. I felt heard at the second dermatologist. My biggest concern was addressed at the appointment with an injection where Dr. Kessel said there is nothing that needs to be done despite me informing him of rapid inflammation to the site. My other two concerns were also addressed. Two follow-up appointments were scheduled to check on two of the concerns. The third concern did not require a follow-up appointment, but was given instructions to mitigate it. I left the second dermatologist feeling cared after opposed to leaving Dr. Kessel’s appointment feeling rushed and misinformed.

An exceptional practitioner: thorough and personable - he is an asset to your office.

If it wasn’t for her, my lupus diagnosis wouldn’t have happened so quickly. She ordered immediate bloodwork and biopsy’s and referred me to a wonderful rheumatologist and my treat started ASAP! I owe her my life, literally!!

This was my annual skin check up, have not been at this office in 5 years. Mr. White came in to the room with an assistant, after I disrobed and had my robe on ready for examination, they did not introduce themselves, asked me general questions if I had any issues with my skin, proceeded with the examination, told me everything was good, see you in a year. My experience was very cold welcoming especially since I had not been there in 5 years!! I had to go on the website to find out which doctor had examined me that day. Will most likely not return here again.

I always get the answers I need and the treatments are always effective. The only thing I did not get the last time I was there was a diagnosis. I was having a strong allergic reaction from strong pain medications after surgery and I don't know what it's called. Uricardia doesn't seen to be exactly appropriate. I'd love to learn the correct terminology.

The office staff members were most accommodating to schedule me in on a Friday afternoon, when I had a small emergency. I was able to see Dr. Morales ,who quickly assessed the issue, took time to ensure all was good before I left the office, so that the problem would not occur again, and made sure he saw me to check up before I left for home. The nurse and staff were made aware that he wanted to see me before I left for home to make certain the issue was cleared and would not occur again. He thought about my welfare and his concern was, and is , much appreciated. Excellent job by all thank you.

My visit to Kessel Dermatology was good. Dr. Kessel answered all my questions regarding the cyst on my back. He removed the cyst and I didn't feel any pain.

She has a great personality which in the medical field is not always seen But she will leave you will a smile and an feeling that you were cared for! Dr Otero was very professional and through with her examination

After detecting a suspicious mole/freckle I was scheduled with Dr Freedman to surgically remove a section of my skin. Dr. Freedman and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and informative. The surgical site was closed very well with stitching and also covered with butterflies to prevent the wound from opening. After two weeks the site looks great, there was never any residual bleeding and the site looks as good as it could. You can tell that Dr. Freedman pays attention to detail with his work. I was very please with the experience. I will be having the stitches removed this week.

Mrs. Savy truly cares about her patients and what she does. She is very open to answering any questions I have and great at explaining the process. I can't remember her assistant's name but she was wonderful and very helpful as well. They are a great team! I look forward to my follow up appointment.
