JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC by Allergan Aesthetics is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to soften moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds while providing smooth, natural-looking correction.

What Is JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC?

VOLLURE is an injectable dermal filler made with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found within the skin.

Its smooth gel formulation is designed to provide correction while allowing flexibility in areas of the face that move frequently with talking, smiling, and other expressions.

What Does JUVÉDERM VOLLURE Treat?

VOLLURE is FDA approved for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, in adults over the age of 21.

Nasolabial folds are the lines that extend from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth.

Depending on your anatomy and treatment goals, your provider will determine whether VOLLURE or another dermal filler is the most appropriate choice.

What Is Vycross® Technology?

VOLLURE is formulated using Allergan's Vycross® technology, which combines different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid to create a smooth, cohesive gel.

This formulation allows VOLLURE to provide correction while maintaining flexibility within areas of facial movement.

How Long Does JUVÉDERM VOLLURE Last?

Results with JUVÉDERM VOLLURE can last up to 18 months in its FDA-approved indication.

Individual results vary depending on the area treated, amount of product used, metabolism, facial movement, and other factors.

The filler gradually breaks down over time, so the correction slowly diminishes rather than disappearing suddenly.

What Should I Expect During Treatment?

Before treatment, your facial anatomy, areas of volume loss, and treatment goals will be evaluated.

VOLLURE is then injected into the appropriate tissue using a needle, microcannula, or combination of techniques depending on the area being treated.

VOLLURE XC contains lidocaine to help improve comfort during treatment.

What Should I Expect After Treatment?

Temporary effects following dermal filler treatment may include:

• Swelling
• Bruising
• Redness
• Tenderness
• Firmness
• Small areas of palpable product

These effects generally improve as the treatment area settles.

More serious complications are uncommon but possible with any dermal filler treatment and will be discussed before your procedure.
